Agenda

Hello!

So here is our agenda! It's a very rough draft, but will give you a heads up of what to be praying for on each day!

As you know we leave tomorrow, Friday, heading to Alaska!

We will be holding a Vacation Bible School Sunday-Thursday in the afternoons and working on completing the parsonage in the mornings.

Sunday our team will lead the worship service for the church we are working with. We will also be hosting a Family Night for VBS Thursday evening.

We will also be hosting a Bicycle Rodeo on Tuesday night for the teenagers in the town. We will be handing out 3 bikes to 3 of the participants!

Throughout the week we will also be spending time in host homes and hanging out with members of the community.

Please continue to be in prayer for us, the relationships that we are building, and that God be glorified!

It's Here!!!!

Hello World!!!

After a year of planning, meetings, and lots of time in the Word we are finally prepared to head off for Alaska!! We leave Friday morning at 6:45 AM and will make it to Anchorage by 6:30 PM. It will be a full day of travel, but needed time to discuss last minute details amongst our team.

Things you need to know and be praying for:

-Pray for our team- Mike, Christie, Kayla, Tim, Charlene, and Jenna
-Pray for VBS that we will be leading
    -Pray for our Bicycle Rodeo
    -Pray for safe travels
-Pray we share God's Word every chance we get
-Pray that our relationships within the community be strengthened

Throughout the week we will strive to update the blog every night with what God is doing and how the day has gone. If we miss a night, please forgive and look the next night! Things can get crazy!

Check back tomorrow for a schedule of what we will be doing throughout the week!

Lastly, I leave you with this verse. It is what will be on our t-shirts and what pushes us to make this trip.

"Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples." -Psalm 96:3

Terrific Tuesday!

Hey guys! Sorry about the lack of a Marvelous Monday!! So here is a Terrific Tuesday!!

Remember that God calls us each to do something, whether it be take an action or make other people aware! Don't miss his calling because you are too busy or just don't like what He says. John Wooden once said, "Never mistake activity for achievement." Sometimes we can be doing 1 million things, but if it isn't to glorify God, then there is no achievement in it.

Remember to be getting those applications in!! Look back at previous blogs for the application and instructions!

Happy New Years Eve!!

Happy New Years Eve Saints!!!

Today we want to share with you a story of someone in Brazil. One day a couple of years ago, a mother had a child born with Down Syndrome. As the doctors tried to explain the ups and downs of Down Syndrome the mother told the doctor she would pray to God and He would heal her son. The doctor told her it wasn't possible for he spoke of the science diagnosis. The mother thought for sure that her family would back her up in praying, but she was wrong. Although this mother had a ton of resistance towards her belief that prayer could heal her child, she prayed anyways.

Every year for 4 years the mother would pray and on the sons birthday make a cake for Jesus and pray that He heal her son in the next year. Nothing happened for 4 years, but on his 5th birthday things began to change and by his 6th birthday the son was completely HEALED!!!

Now that is a God thing. Remember in 2013 that God holds the big picture and we should take everything to him in Prayer(Philippians 4:6). We may not see our answer right away, but we must remember God has it under control. Something hard for all of those control freaks out there!

Have a blessed New Year!!
